Empowerment and Healing - Myanmar
In 2018, while living in Myanmar, I began offering weekly free dance classes at women’s empowerment shelters, creating a supportive space for stress relief and fostering personal growth through movement and self-expression.
Since 2021, following the coup in Myanmar, I have expanded this mission online, offering dance and yoga classes to women and girls in conflict zones. Today, over 100 women and girls in shelters across Myanmar participate in these online sessions.
Community Wellness Initiatives - Cambodia
Namasate also brings wellness directly to communities through monthly in-person workshops for the LGBTQIA+ community in Cambodia and mindful movement sessions for vocational training centers. These offerings are about more than just movement, they create safe spaces for connection and personal development.
Yoga and Mindful Movement Outreach Programs
Namasate supports creative education projects, vocational training, and community initiatives with free yoga and mindful movement classes. over 1200 youth and women have been reached with the Mindful Moves program so far.
